May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.

You know how every day we see image after image after image after fucking image of a woman who has been photoshopped within an inch of her life?
And you know how you can’t help but internalize the images as the standard by which you must set yourself?
Oh, and you know how some people think that the way a model looks when she’s photoshopped is the way a woman should look?
Yeah.
So, what if we started tweeting, blogging, photographing, collaging, pasting up, painting, airbushing, graffitiing pictures of women like Crystal Renn (above) or Toccara Jones (LOVES) everywhere. Every day. Every time you see a photoshopped model. Post/look at/capture/create an image of someone you see in your real life who you love or are fascinated by.
What if we started to say, “NO MORE” and started to do something to wash out our brains.
What if.
